I am lucky enough to be friends and acquaintances with more than a few small business owners. I found that in our conversations, they always had one common problem….what to do about social media? Whether the issue was lack of time, lack of knowledge, or lack of funds to hire someone to do it full-time, it was a theme that stuck out to me. As every business owner knows, the secret to a successful company is to recognize a problem and then solve it. Carousel Media Management was begun as an answer to this problem.

My hometown in southwest Georgia has one stoplight, sixteen murals, and a tiny amateur theater that taught me to enjoy public speaking and thinking on my feet. I grew up on a farmstead that was entirely self-sufficient, learning how to garden and raise livestock and live entirely off the land.
After graduating high school, I moved to Macon, GA to attend Mercer University. I fell in love with the incredible food and music scene there, and worked in both the restaurants and entertainment venues during college. I continued to work full time through all four years, as well as study my chosen majors of Marketing and Human Resource Management.
From there, I moved to Columbus, Georgia, where I spent two years getting to know the "River City" and expanding my experience with marketing and event management.
From there, the decision to start my own business was only natural, and I have enjoyed it every step of the way!

As a born and raised farm kid, I love all things outdoorsy! Hiking and canoeing are my favorite pastimes, as well as traveling and finding treasures in thrift/antique stores. My boxer, Little Man, and I are always up to something new!
